Suffolk Supreme Championship

The competition is open to registered Suffolk horses, regardless of age or gender, that are eligible for any of the affiliated shows held across the country through the showing season. Automatic qualification will go to the champion of a given show, however if a particular horse has already qualified the reserve will become eligible. Should this horse also have already qualified then the horse placed third in the championship line-up will qualify.

The final competition will held at the Suffolk Spectacular in September 2016 will be judged by a panel of judges on a points system. The judging panel will be comprise two Society panel judges and one other independent recognised and respected judge.  Prize money to all places sponsored by Peter Crockford, and the supreme trophy presented by Peter Crockford and Sue Wager for the winner.

IMPORTANT - Horse Passports

Attention all Suffolk horse owners.

Is your Equine Passport up to date? UK Equine Passport legislation changed on 1st January 2016.  You MUST tell us IMMEDIATELY if

  • your horse has died and you have not returned the passport
  • if you have bought a horse and not arranged for the passport to be endorsed into your name
