Heavy Horse Skills Training 2010
The Suffolk Horse Society offers Heavy Horse Training Days as follows:
Tuesday 6th April
Introduction to Suffolks Day including stable management, feeding regimes, grooming and foot care.
Friday 16th April
Working Day including long reigning, harnessing to plough gears and harnessing to fillers (cart) gears.
Tuesday 27th April
Driving Day including leading a single horse in a vehicle, driving a single horse in a vehicle and driving a single horse in agricultural implements.
Tuesday 11th May
Showing Day including grooming, braiding and ring etiquette.
all under the tuition of Cherry Grover and Nigel Oakley.
Training days are dependent upon a minimum number of attendees. Advance booking is essential. The price per day will £65 per person. Book with the Society.
