Get Involved

If you are enthusiastic about Suffolks, why not get more involved with them?

Look at our 'What's Happening' section, to find out when and where events involving Suffolks are taking place. If you have a Suffolk, why not take part in a Suffolk or Heavy Horse class? And don't forget that the SHS offers grants for certain show activities - see our 'Horse Business, Grants' section for further details.

Here are some other ways in which you can also get involved with the Society and its support of the Suffolk breed:

Application for Council

The Society welcomes Members to become more involved by joining the Society's Council.

This year's election will take place at the AGM to be held on Saturday 21st April 2018 at Trinity Park.

We have had a small refresh done to update the look of the website. This has been done free of charge, and we thank Free-rein for their kind services on this. All features and accesses operate as previously, but we have added icons for direct access to our Instagram and Facebook pages.

You may have already seen our postcard, advertising places that you can visit in order to see a Suffolk. We have now also listed these places under 'Links To Other Sites', and will update this listing as we are notified of more places where Suffolks can be seen.
