General Show Grants

TURNOUT GRANT

The Society offers a grant of £50 per horse to members entering turnouts at these shows, and completing the Turnout Grant Application Form.

Download an application form from the website, keep it with your show box so that you can fill it in and get it signed throughout the season, and then get it back to the office in good time. Alternatively, contact the administration office and ask for an application form to be sent to you. Several members have missed out on their grants in previous years due to not putting in their application.  Don't miss out this year!

PLOUGH MATCH GRANT

The SHS will pay £200 per plough team and £100 per working horse for all competitors at the SHS Plough Match in October 2018.

FOAL & YEARLING SHOW GRANT

The SHS will pay £40 for all horses entered and forward at the annual show in 2018.

See Our Newest Foals

We, at the Society, are working hard with owners of the Suffolk Horse to encourage breeding in order to increase numbers. With their hard work, dedication and commitment each season brings a ‘crop’ of new foals, from Springtime onwards.

There are now 4 foals!

The Codes are an essential guide for the prevention and control of equine diseases threatening equine breeding.
